The Garden

The villa is situated 740 m above sea level. Mediterranean plants such as lavender, rosemary and thyme thrive in the the garden, carefully planted in between the mature Italian chestnut trees, cypress trees and rose bushes that blossom in the late spring. The Garden has been carefully planned so it is a balanced mix of a more traditional formal Italian garden contrasted with wild flower meadows within the same grounds creating a paradise for a variety of butterflies in the early Summer.

The Location

Located between Florence and Rome it is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany and Umbria, the area’s rich cultural heritage, an abundance of vineyards to visit and breathtaking nature surrounding the villa. Being set up in the mountains it has a cooling breeze during the hottest months of the year and spectacular walks on the doorstep during spring and autumn.
